Thinking of joining or want to know more about membership costs and benefits? We would be delighted to discuss membership options and arrangements with you as these can sometimes appear complicated.
Please note that membership is not limited to civil or public servants. Anyone can join, but whether you are interested in joining one of the affiliated sports clubs or just joining the club for the outstanding bar and social facilities or other benefits, you must first join the national body, the CSSC (Civil Service Sports Council). Membership of CSSC opens up an even wider range of national benefits, from discounts in store and on line to reductions at restaurants, gyms and a host of other services and offers.
Public Sector employees or pensioners, including civil servants, local government, the NHS, teachers, police, fire fighters and HM Armed Forces personnel are able to join CSSC without referral. However anyone can become a member of CSSC through the linked membership scheme, where existing CSSC members can link up to three people to their membership. Benefits are the same for every CSSC member, linked or not. Please contact the club or any of the individual sports clubs and they will advise on the procedure for joining CSSC and the current prices for sport within each individual club.
The are many benefits for CSSC members.
Details of membership costs and joining arrangements can be found on the join CSSC page.
