What is CACSSA?

Welcome to the Cotswold Area Civil Service Sports Association (CACSSA), a local sports and leisure club which provides outstanding sports facilities and other amenities.  Previously known as the Cheltenham Area, the club is well established and has been at its current site for over 50 years. It is known locally as the “civvy club” or simply CACSSA (pronounced “kaxa”) for short.

On weekdays CACSSA is also a conference centre, with rooms available for hire for business conferences, meetings and seminars. In evenings and weekends CACSSA can be booked for a wide range of social events. See hire us for all options.

On-site sports at the CACSSA club include archery, cricket, football, rugby, skittles, squash and tennis.  There are affiliated sailing and golf clubs. See sport clubs for all associated clubs.
